"Oh you watch Major Crimes because it is an insightful look at the justice system in modern-day America?"

No.

"Oh, you watch Downton Abbey because it provides a look at interesting characters at a time so different from today?"

No.

"Oh, you watched Game of Thrones because it is a new take on many of the fantasy tropes that have dominated the genre for years?"

No.

I watch them all for middle-aged ladies with nice hair and their emotionally-repressed love-interests.

I definitely don’t do this. This is definitely not me. Nope. No way.

Formal Episode Request

Dear JDuff & Co,

I would like to formally request an episode where Sharon and Gavin go shopping.

I need this in my life. Immediately.

Bonus points for Rusty being dragged along and rolling his eyes and complaining the whole time.

Love Always,

Caitlyn

No hug?

nevada10:

That last scene needed a hug. Just a little one. I enjoyed the episode but missed the advertised “Shandy” moment that Tony mentioned. (No, I don’t count that smile before he left.) Maybe it was cut for time. This episode had a lot of fast action packed in 43 minutes. Julio had some great moments.

I was literally sitting on my couch yelling at my roommate, “WHY AREN’T THEY HUGGING?!?!”

That was definitely a hug moment.

2 Thoughts on Tonight’s Episode of MC

1) I know a lot of people seem to be excited about this Laurie Holden situation (I mean, I liked her fine in the X-Files, but I never watched the Walking Dead so I don’t really care?) buuuuutttt I’m finding I really dislike the fact that she’s a commander. I prefer Sharon to be the HBIC at all times.

2) After last week I have really high hopes for more developments in the character storylines, and I’m concerned that they’re going to take a break from that and this entire episode is going to be about this Special Operations Bureau situation and pretty much not touch on the personal lives of our favorite people at all. Especially since they’re introducing a new character played by a fairly big-name actress, and everyone is considering this a dry run for a(nother) potential spin-off (which, does Jon Tenney have a clause in his contract or something that says he has to have his own show? Seriously).

Long story short (too late), after last week I have high expectations and will probably be disappointed. Womp Womp.

TBH, Rusty Raydor is hardly worse than Ricky Raydor.

I really wanted Sharon to say something like “Yeah Ricky has never really forgiven us for his name….”
